Clients’ brief:
To create clarity and calm out of the abandoned area at the end of their garden.
After lots of discussion about what to create in this space we all agreed to create an opportunity to sit in quiet contemplation to enjoy the new planting scheme facing into the main garden.
My design sketch gives a sense of the new area where we added a beautiful seated arbour, which we planted with climbers to add colour around the framework. A very simple planting plan of Choisya dewitteana ‘White Dazzler’ lined the entrance along the bark pathway up to the seated arbour.
Sometimes simple is best.
