In the round garden design ~ Langford village, Bedfordshire

Clients’ brief:

My clients are experienced gardeners and knew that they wanted a garden full of perennials and trees to help bring back wildlife into this new build development. A blank canvas of a garden with nothing more than soil and fencing. A circular lawn was already a ‘must have’ for my clients and they had seen some of my previous design work with a circular lawn; just perfect for a corner garden and for creating an inclusive and private vibe. The aspects of the garden can be enjoyed from all parts of the garden and adding beautiful ornamental trees also creates much needed dappled shade for this south-facing garden.

A beautiful lawn is framed with blue engineering bricks to create a stand out shape, which will soften as the planting matures. A break-away grassy border adds a lovely lyrical focal point within the patio porcelain paving.
