Client brief

Our clients wanted a contemporary garden that complemented their home. We combined natural materials in the design while preserving the openness and expansive views they enjoyed across the surrounding farmland. Keen to maintain a connection with the landscape beyond, we replaced close-board fencing with post-and-rail fencing, allowing views to extend into the countryside and even welcoming curious cows to the boundary.

Flowing curves and a sweeping pathway guide visitors through the garden to a pergola seating area and garden office. Designed for keen cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts, the space balances practicality for home working with inviting areas to relax and unwind.
