Client brief
After downsizing, our clients wanted a garden that combined their love of gardening with space to relax outdoors. Retaining the greenhouse, shed and mature plum tree, we transformed the blank-canvas garden into a colourful gravel garden filled with long-flowering perennials, ornamental grasses and seasonal interest. A gazebo was positioned in the sunniest part of the garden to create a shaded garden sanctuary, softened by fragrant lavender and flowing grasses. A circular lawn provides space for their dog while complementing the corner plot. Blue engineering brick edging adds definition, creates a practical mowing strip and contrasts beautifully with the sandstone paving.
The result is a vibrant, low-maintenance garden sanctuary designed for gardening, relaxation and year-round enjoyment.
